Studio SALES
Studio Sales by Norberto Ruggeri is a contemporary art gallery based in Rome and a member of the Italics Art and Landscape consortium.
Studio SALES is located at Piazza Dante 2, on the third floor of a late nineteenth-century building in the central Esquilino district, now both the heart and a symbol of multicultural Rome. Originally home to the Royal Belgian Academy, the building still offers an especially fitting setting for artistic activity, thanks to its distinctive and intimate atmosphere.
The social context, and the city itself, which has a profound impact on the way the contemporary is perceived.

It has changed enormously since 1994, the year the gallery opened. At that time, the contemporary art scene in Rome was extremely limited.
The gallery is housed in a nineteenth-century building that, until the Fascist period, was the Royal Academy of Belgium; the gallery space occupies one of the studios that once hosted Belgian artists of that time.
The gallery works, and has always worked, with its artists on a long-term project. In our view, this is the only way to establish an artistic and cultural program of genuine coherence and meaning.
